It is widely taught today that God loves everyone unconditionally.  They say that we did nothing good to earn God's love, therefore nothing you can possibly do can make God love you any more or any less.  They say that God loves the sinner unconditionally, he only hates the sin.  But if even one Scripture proves that this is untrue, then the unconditional love of God teaching is a lie.

Jesus indeed loved us unconditionally to die for the sins of the world, but now the Bible says that he who does not believe (exercise obedient faith) is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God. To teach that now God and the Lord Jesus loves everyone unconditionally is a very deadly false teaching, no matter how many ear tickling fake preachers are selling that lie to so many who demand assurance and affirmation in of their false hopes of being saved while they keep on sinning, after all, God loves me and Jesus loves me unconditionally!! And why should sinners even repent with such a false unconditional love gospel?

For those who have ears to hear and eyes to see, here are some scriptures, first of all from the New Testament:

Mark. 10:21  "Jesus, beholding him, loved him..." (the rich young ruler)

Jn. 3:16  "God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son, that whoever believes should not perish..."

Jn. 3:18   "... he that does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

John. 10:17  " This is why the Father loves me (TCNT), because I lay down my life..."NEB

John. 11:5  "Jesus loved Martha and her sister..."

John. 14:21  "He that has my commandments and keeps them, it is he that loves me, and he that loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him..." (Another very clear one!)

John. 14:23, 24  "If anyone loves me, he will keep my words (obey my teaching) and my Father will love him and we will come to him and make our abode with him (remember, God gives his Holy Spirit to those who obey him Acts 5:32).  He that doesn't love me doesn't keep my sayings."

John. 15:9, 10  "I have loved you just as the Father has loved me.

Jn. 15:14  "You are my friends if you do as I command you." (unconditional friendship?)

John. 16:27  "For the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God." (That should be enough right there.  The Scripture cannot be broken.  This is a clear condition of God's love after Christ came!)

John. 21:20  (speaking of John)"...the disciple whom Jesus loved..." (also 19:26, 21:7, 20:2)

Acts 17:30  "In the past God overlooked ignorance, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent."

Romans 8:28 "We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him" (not automatically for all unconditionally)

Romans 9:13  (God speaking) "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."

1 Corinthians 16:22  " If any man does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed."

You must remain (1 Tim. 1:13-"in Christ", 1 Tim. 1:14, 1 Cor. 16:24*) in my love." Wms

Jude 21  "Keep yourselves in the love of God."

And some more from the Old Testament:

Deuteronomy 7:7-11 "The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but because the LORD loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the LORD brought you out by a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments; but repays those who hate Him to their faces, to destroy them; He will not delay with him who hates Him, He will repay him to his face. Therefore, you shall keep the commandment and the statutes and the judgments which I am commanding you today, to do them." (NAS)

Dueteronomy. 32:5  "They have dealt corruptly with Him, they are no longer His children because of their blemish"RSV (they are perverse and crooked)

2 Chronicles. 19:2 Should you help the ungodly and love those who hate the LORD? Because of this, wrath has gone out against you from the LORD.

2 Chronicles. 19:2 "Why should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD?...Therefore the LORD's wrath is upon you!"

Psalm 5:5-7  "The proud will not be allowed to stand in your presence, for you hate all who do evil ("...thou hatest all workers of iniquity"KJV, "...you abhor all evil doers"AMP)).  You will destroy those who tell lies.  The Lord detests murderers and deceivers.  Because of your unfailing love I can enter your house..."NLT

Psalm. 11:5  "The LORD...hates ("hates with all His soul"NEB) everyone who loves violence."

Psalm. 15:1-5  "Who may worship in your sanctuary, LORD? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?  Those who...despise persistent sinners and honor the faithful followers of the LORD..."

Psalm. 31:6  "God of truth, you (KJV "I") hate those who serve worthless idols, but I put my trust in the LORD, I will exult and rejoice in your love!"JB, RSV, Sprl)

Psalm. 139:21, 22  (David, the man after God's own heart) " Oh LORD, shouldn't I hate those who hate you?  Shouldn't I despise those who resist you?  Yes, I hate them with complete hatred("perfect hatred"KJV, "total hatred"JB), for your enemies are my enemies."NLT

Proverbs. 12:22  " God hates liars, but delights in the honest man."

Proverbs. 29:27  "The godly despise (loath, hate, abhor, the wicked are an abomination to the godly-from TW26-different translations of Bible) the wicked; the wicked despise the godly." (NLT)

Isa 63:9-10 In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His mercy He redeemed them; and He lifted them and carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; therefore, He turned himself to become their enemy, He fought against them. (NAS)

Hosea 1:6  "...Name your daughter...'Not loved', for I will no longer show love to the people of Israel or forgive them.  But I, the LORD their God, will show love to the people of Judah."NLT  Verse 9, concerning 2nd son:  "...Name him...'Not my people', for Israel is not my people, and I am not their God."

Hos. 10:12  "Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of my love."NLT, Moffatt

Mal. 2:17  "You have wearied God by suggesting that he delights in evildoers."
